Watch Dogs Graphics Downgrade – But is it?

There’s been a lot of fuss surrounding the recent Watch Dogs trailer. The few gameplay clips we saw appear to have downgraded graphics from the E3 gameplay we saw back in 2013. Has Watch Dogs seen a graphical downgrade? Has Ubisoft been lying to us about how good this game is? Is Watch Dogs worth buying? Are the aliens behind this?

Let’s take a breath, and go over why the graphics appear to be lower quality than in previous videos in a rational method. No need to hyperventilate.

Oh yeah baby, it’s finally here. The release date for Watch Dogs has finally surfaced! May 27th is the lucky day. Looks like I’ll be busy that week. The trailer features more story elements than previous trailers, and I thought it’d be worth my time to talk about them. Keep reading to see my thoughts.

Watch Dogs Delayed

Aww, sadface! Ubisoft’s highly anticipated game Watch Dogs, the hacker-based next gen title, has been delayed into 2014. Directly from the developer’s blog, they said that “we will not compromise on quality.” As much as delaying a game is frustrating, it’s not always bad. In the words of Shigeru Miyamoto (the godfather of Mario, Zelda, and Nintendo in general), “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is still on schedule, since that’s a different developer team. We’ll be looking forward to the release of Black Flag in a couple weeks.
